EM is a multi-disciplinary artist + designer based in Santa Cruz, CA. Her color-forward work comes can be described as: psychedelic luminous nature meets retro-futuristic femme culture. Her tactile, textural, hands-on approach to design and her background in board sports and pole dance greatly informs her creations.
EM’s work centers around a theme of contrast; the space between chaos and control, the masculine and feminine, the ancient and the futuristic, the mundane and the magical.
She started R.A.D in 2014 as a way to process life, honor the planet, and connect with others and today she maintains that same goal with the brand.
