COLLECTION

The PARADi$E INFINIT¥ line is EM’s premier 2016 collection of upcycled swim + activewear. It is the result of many hours at the sewing machine creating in her coastal trailer studio, crafting each garment by hand. Fabricating these pieces from vintage 90’s and 80’s swimwear and athletic-wear found at vintage stores, the patterns and prints on many of these old pieces of fabric directly inspire EM’S surface designs today. The imperfect, wild, loose scratchy style of the brushstrokes, the color combinations, the boldness all inform my present-day work. RAD’s philosophy is “Work with what you’ve got”, meaning, you don’t need a big budget to start something extraordinary, just a bit of willingness.
